Richard John - Managing Director

Managing Director

Richard John is the Managing Director, with three decades of business and training experience.

He is a business trainer, consultant, writer, and presenter. His approach to consultancy is to take this wealth of experience and to transfer it into effective training delivery which makes a difference.

His clients range from major blue-chip organisations to SMEs and even micro businesses.

Tracy is the power behind the throne, a highly experienced account director who also manages all aspects of finance, operations and logistics.

She has worked for a variety of major international operations in account management roles, and now ensures the seamless delivery of RJA’s range of services.

Alan Elston - Frontman
Alan Elston

Alan Elston is an International Event Host, working with clients and agencies to add a creative, professional touch to business conferences and events.

Working with blue-chip clients that include Microsoft, Google, Vodafone and Kaspersky Lab, Alan successfully helps global business leaders deliver their messages to multi-national audiences in a variety of conference and event settings.

His positive, nurturing and inclusive hosting style delivers proven results, by removing many of the barriers that get in the way of great communication at an event.

Alan’s skill as an event host ensures the practical and logistical elements appear effortless to the audience. He manages the stage with pace and energy, and raises the level of professionalism of any conference.

Melissa Woodbridge - Actor
Melissa Woodbridge

Melissa has been an actor for 15 years.

She graduated with an English Degree and went to Drama School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

She has appeared in numerous plays, short films and adverts, and also works as a voiceover artist and roleplayer in the corporate environment.

From corporate training films to live psychological assessment centres, she is particularly good at improvising to brief or learning lines at short notice.

Her versatility helps in playing a huge variety of characters as customers or managers and their reports. Clients have ranged from the Department of Health, to Glaxo SmithKline, Barclays to Specsavers.

The past 5 years have led her to facilitate sessions on Management training, Change Management, HR and relationship building as well as teaching confidence and presentation skills. She also runs a charity creating workshops for children.

Corinna Powlesland - Actor & Facilitator

Actor & Facilitator

Corinna is a highly experienced actress, coach and facilitator with 25 years of experience as a professional actor and 16 years specializing in coaching public speaking, presentations, management development and all aspects of personal impact. She works with individuals and groups across all sectors and levels of experience, and is a passionate advocate for the use of drama process in the personal development of adults. Her style is bold, kind, spirited and immersive.

Corinna trained to be an actress at the Guildford School of Acting and grew up in Plymouth, Devon. She has lived in London for 25 years and travels Internationally with her work.

Most recently she has appeared in the film ‘London Road’ for the National Theatre and Channel 4 films and onstage in The Crucible at West Yorkshire Playhouse and Pride and Prejudice at Sheffield Crucible. She has worked in the West End and in most regional theatres around the country. Corinna also sings and has performed at Ronnie Scott’s in London and Don’t Tell Mama’s in New York.

As a coach Corinna worked for 6 years at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London. Other clients include : Credit Suisse, Citigroup, KPMG, Barclays, BskyB, Goldman Sachs, Channel Four, Warner Bros, Universal Music, CGGVeritas, FTI consulting, Bupa, BA, UK Sport, Diageo, Rolls Royce, Deloitte and Chanel.

Melda Ekmen - Co-Active Coach

Melda is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, a Psychologist, a NLP Master Practitioner and holds an MA degree in Organisation Studies from Warwick Business School.

Melda runs her own learning consultancy business in London. She focuses on professional and personal development of leaders and managers through coaching, training and consulting projects. She helps them to be effective and authentic leaders while developing positive relationships with their team members. Outside organisations Melda offers career coaching to individuals who are longing for new and/or more fulfilling careers.

Melda also delivers intercultural trainings on Global Leadership, British and Turkish cultures.

Before setting up her own business Melda worked in Human Resources function with L’Oreal Group in Turkey, France and the UK. During her time in the corporate world she got specialised in helping experienced and young leaders to manage the full cycle of people management – recruitment, integration, motivation, learning, performance management. As part of her international HR role Melda has managed corporate projects on employee engagement, performance management and leadership development.
